Even though we’re less than 24 hours away from the official unveiling of the new flagship, the HTC 10, of course people can’t help but leak stuff, whether it’s pictures or specs of the device. The latest one now is the promotional video that will reportedly be used to reveal the sleek design of the new smartphone. But of course that design has also already been leaked with photos showing off the flagship, and dares you to not use the i word in describing it.
The video actually doesn’t say much about the HTC 10 apart from its design. Using some product animation, we get to see all the three colors that will apparently b available for the smartphone, which is gold, silver, and black. It also shows the slightly curved front screen, which has led to some people saying it looks like an iPhone. But of course the Taiwanese OEM will say that it is Apple that copied them first and not the other way around.
As for the specs, what has been floating around the past weeks is that it will have a 5.2-inch quad HD display and it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor. It is also rumored to have a 4GB RAM, a 3000mAh battery, a USB-C port, and a 12MP/5MP main and front-facing camera respectively. Based on the leaked pictures and video as well, there will probably be a fingerprint sensor on that huge power button that can be seen in the front.
We’re just a few hours away from seeing what HTC will be unveiling. We don’t know if we’ll also get an explanation as to the name change. We were expecting an HTC One M10 or even an HTC One 10, but apparently, what we’ll have is a much simpler HTC 10.
