After the Oppo R9 and R9 Plus flagship phones being unveiled in China last March, we’re now anticipating for the Oppo Find 9. The Chinese OEM is said to be skipping Find 8 so for your information, don’t be surprised if you don’t see any Find 8. First rumor we heard about it was last October and back then, we already knew that it would look like the Find 7.
Specs of the yet-to-be-announced Find 9 was sighted on a GFXBench listing recently. As usual, we’ve got information on the features including the following: 5.5-inch screen, 1080 x 1920 FHD display, MediaTek Helio P10 chipset, 4GB RAM, 64GB built-in storage, 16MP front-facing camera, 12MP rear camera with flash and 4K video capability. There’s also the usual sensors and connectivity: accelerometer, Bluetooth, compass, GPS, gyroscpore, lightsensor, NFC, pedometer, proximity, and WiFi.
The OPPO Find 9 was first noted to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC but it’s listed with a MediaTek processor now. This means the Oppo Find 9 will remain in the mid-range category. What’s most interesting about the details we’ve gathered is the fact that the front-facing camera will have higher megapixels than the main camera. The selfie shooter will be 16MP while the rear camera will only be 12MP but that one can capture 4K videos already.
