Ever since the start of this year, more and more phone makers and mobile carriers have finally joined the bandwagon by releasing Marshmallow updates for their units. We know that Verizon and T-Mobile are prepping to release the update for HTC One M8 devices and finally, they’re ready. The Verizon HTC One M8 can now be updated to the fluffy Marshmallow complete with the newest security patches, bug fixes, and performance enhancements.
The Android 6.0 brings the following new features: Google Now, customizable volume controls, and share and delete screenshots. The OTA should be received soon but if you’re impatient, you can simply proceed to Settings> System Update> Check for new System update. Update is now available. All these and more are similar to what T-Mobile is rolling out also for the HTC One M8.
The LG G STYLO phablet released less than a year ago also deserves some fluffy goodness so T-Mobile decided to prepare an update for it. To check, go to Settings> System> About phone> Software info. If you see any of these versions, it means you can update to software version H63120b: H63110L, H63110j, H63110i, H63110e, and H63109b. You can always wait for the OTA notification.
