A Moto G Turbo Edition was sighted last month but we knew it would only be available in Mexico. But only recently, a similar handset was listed on Flipkart which means the model has arrived in India. It’s not really surprising since most phones unveiled in Brazil also usually arrive in India and other emerging markets.
What’s now up for sale on the India e-commerce website is a 16GB white variant that boasts of a 13MP camera, 5MP selfie shooter, 5.0-inch Touchscreen display, 32GB onboard storage, microSD card slot for memory expansion, Dual SIM support, a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon Octa Core Processor, 2GB RAM, WiFi, and a 2470 mAh battery. Phone runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop already out of the box and is IP67-certified. This means device is dust- and water-resistant.
The Moto G Turbo also features TurboCharge technology so you can quickly charge the phone a good maximum of six hours of battery life only after 15 minutes of charging. That’s so fast there’s no way you will run out of battery as you can easily charge it. You only need a few minutes to get significant amount of power. As for the display, screen is high-def with 294 ppi and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
A black version of the Moto G Turbo Edition is also available from Flipkart. Available for Rs. 14,499 which is about $216.
