It’s been a bad couple of weeks (months?) for OnePlus fans, especially with OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei coming out and apologizing because they “messed up” the shipping part of the new OnePlus 2. It makes sense if you actually hear audible groans from the more than 2 million people who have pre-ordered the China-based outfit’s newest “flagship killer”, as they are nowhere near getting their hands on that piece of hardware. But what is this on OnePlus’s Google+ account? Is it a teaser for something new?
From the image, we can say one thing – it’s not exactly clear what this is. Some sort of leather surface is viewable on the image, as well as some sort of shoelace. If OnePlus is moving into luxury footwear, then that would really be a surprise, but we think not.
The announcement and the tag line in the image supports a theme of “luxury” – but if you take a look at the comments below the announcement, fans seem like they’re way past caring. If they get their hands on their OnePlus 2 phone, things might be a bit happier.
As such, any attempt to launch something new form OnePlus will be met with disdain and complaints. But you can feel free to make a guess and bust up the comments section below. Who knows, maybe you’ll get some kind of satisfaction for guessing this one right.

OnePlus can’t get the basics right and they’re wanting to talk “luxury”?! Highly inappropriate.
Looks like one of those Chinese finger traps…you know the ones, the harder you try, the less you get. How Zen.
