The Sony Lavender leaked ahead of launch but it’s not yet formally released by the Japanese tech giant. We’ve got new information that this model will now be known as the Xperia T4 Ultra (E5503) as an obvious follow up to the Xperia T3. This Sony Xperia T4 Ultra can be considered as a phablet because of its size but it’s expected to impress us more with its bezel-free design.

So far, we know this Sony Lavender aka the Xperia T4 Ultra will boast of a 5.5-inch full HD display, 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 chipset, 2GB RAM, 13MP main camera, dual-SIM support, 4G/LTE connectivity, and Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. Since the past Xperia T phones are considered mid-range, we can expect this T4 to be priced somewhere between $280 and $300.

We’re excited to know if this Xperia T4 will really sport a bezel-free design because if it does, this will be the first bezel-free device from Sony. We’re not sure if the phone will be indeed purple or lavender but the color is not our concern right now. I’m more interested in the possibility that it will be bezel-free.

Not many phones feature this design yet so Sony still has an advantage in the market. Just like the Sony Xperia T3, we’re expecting the T4 will be just as stylish, functional, and affordable. I guess we just have to wait and see.
