We’re only waiting for Huawei to finally reveal the Honor 7 which was recently leaked by TENAA. We’ve previously seen a teaser that the new smartphone from the Chinese company will come with a fingerprint scanner. We earlier expected a June 8 launch but sadly, still no Honor 7 in sight. But recently, a new teaser was released and now with June 30 as the reveal data.
Rumor has it that that Huawei Honor 7 will have the following: a 5-inch screen, 1080 x 1920 resolution (441ppi pixel density), 64-bit Kirin 935 chipset with octa-core CPU, 3GB RAM/16GB built-in storage for the basic version, a 13 megapixel camera, OIS, and a 3280mAh battery. Meanwhile, the premium version will have 64GB storage capacity and 4GB RAM.
Since the phone was already posted on the TENAA website, we’ve got some information that the fingerprint sensor will be used for unlocking the phone. This means a more secure phone. We’re still guessing if it will have a metal build but looks more like it. We already know that Huawei Honor 7 will have the following types of connectivity: FDD-LTE, TD-LTE, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, CDMA 1X, GSM, and CDMA2000. That fingerprint sensor makes Huawei one of the first aside from Samsung and Apple to have such feature.
No word on availability and pricing yet but we’re really hoping the June 30 launch date is final and official. No delays or whatsoever, please.
