Huawei SnapTo

The Motorola Moto G is about to get a new competition from Huawei. In the United States, Huawei just introduced the SnapTo, a new LTE-capable Android smartphone that will be available starting tomorrow, April 9 on Amazon. This new model will be very affordable at only $179.99 without any agreement or two-year contract. You can use the phone with any SIM from your choice of mobile carrier.

The Huawei SnapTo is another budget phone entry from the Chinese manufacturer. You can pre-order either a white or black SnapTo model from Amazon. Don’t be confused if you see and hear this model called as the Huawei Expo because it is just one and the same.

For a sub $200 price, you’ll get a 5-inch 720p LCD unit display, 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 quad-core CPU Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB RAM, 5 megapixel main camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, only 8GB of internal storage, and a 2,200mAh battery. Phone will run Android 4.4 KitKat with Emotion UI v2.3 out of the box.

According to Amazon, the SnapTo phone can support T-Mobile and AT&T 2G/3G/4G/LTE. Phone’s battery cover looks classy and luxurious with the leather texture finish. It’s a budget phone alright but it looks like a premium phone. Actually, the Huawei SnapTo looks a bit like the Huawei P8 Lite and the Honor 6 Plus. Agree?
