OpenTable has been making restaurant reservations easier and faster especially since it was added to Google Glass last year and with the recent update released only last month. Well, the app’s development team is adding another new feature that allows mobile payments. Pay with OpenTable is now available for download so you can reserve and pay for your dinner right on your Android smartphone.
Frequent OpenTable users and diners only need to add a credit card in their profile. With just a few taps, you can easily view and pay your check. No more barcodes, scanning, or special codes needed. You don’t have to show your credit card either because all your details are stored on your account. With OpenTable you can immediately pay and go after your date, errr…dinner.
At present, there are about 32,000 restaurants and some 600 partners that accept OpenTable reservations for a more modern and personalized hospitality. With the app, you can reserve instantly, research and discover restaurant photos, reviews, and menus, and manage reservations even when you’re mobile. You can get rewarded with points as well.
OpenTable is also available in the UK, Canada, Germany, Mexico, and Japan but the mobile payment feature is only available in the US for now. No information when OpenTable will be ready in other regions.
