AT&T is already gearing up for the release of the HTC One M9 and the Samsung Galaxy S6. We know the latest Samsung Android flagship phone will arrive in the United States this coming April 11. The unit was also listed for pre-order in the UK last week. On the other hand, the HTC One M9 is expected to arrive a day earlier on April 10. We already know that T-Mobile is offering the One M9 but good to know another mobile network is carrying it soon.
Before the Galaxy S6, AT&T has released the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini last March 20. Under AT&T, we’re also expecting the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. We don’t know when AT&T will make the Galaxy S6 and One M9 available in the market but at least we know they’ll be available soon. The company has recently released some promo videos about the two Android smartphones.
According to AT&T, the Galaxy S6 is the next big thing. The phone is almost here complete with a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display that is easy to view even under direct sunlight, speedy performance, wide-angle selfie and Auto HDR capabilities, and longer battery life thank to Ultra Power Saving Mode, Fast Charging, or wireless charging.

The reimagined Galaxy S6 boasts a stunning metal bezel while the Galaxy S6 edge comes with a revolutionary dual-edge screen. Other features include a 16 megapixel OIS rear-facing camera, 5MP front-facing camera, enhanced camera functions, and the three charging modes.
The HTC One M9 has been designed with an all-metal body, dual-tone finish, and Full HD screen display. It boasts a 20 megapixel rear-facing camera with Sapphire glass lens cover and Ultrapixel front-facing camera, making it ideal for shooting vivid photos and videos. There are also front-facing stereo speakers with Dolby Audio and built-in amplifiers for a more impressive audio quality.
HTC One M9 also features HTC Sense Home that lets your phone adapt to your location any time or day and offer helpful suggestions. If you’re still not convinced, perhaps the HTC premium cases will because they bring a whole new mobile experience to your smartphone. You can choose either the HTC Dot View Ice-Premium that allows quick calls and notifications while closed or the DecoStand Case that props up your phone for media viewing. The latter snaps on and wraps around the edges to protect the One M9. Of course, there’s also the UH OH Protection plan we featured recently.
No details on exact availability and pricing yet but we’ll let you know soon.

Will ATT lock SGS6’s bootloader?
Of course. TMO is really the only carrier that has a chance of it being unlocked.
The Galaxy S6 has matched or beaten the iPhone in nearly every category. It’s faster. It has a better camera. The screen is the best ever put on a phone. But until Samsung comes up with something killer on the software side of the equation, I can’t recommend the Galaxy S6 over the iPhone.
