Here’s another reason for you to love Google: the search giant has just updated the Google Play Music app to feature music videos of some of the most popular songs right now. For All Access subscribers, access to YouTube Music Key beta is also provided.
The new feature is available in select countries only: United States, Spain, United Kingdom, Portugal, Spain, Ireland, Italy, and Finland. No mention when it will come to Canada, Asia, South America, and the rest of Europe but it should be available very soon.
Google knows how much you want to watch music videos of a song you’re listening to that’s why the company decided to bring YouTube videos in Google Play Music. So when you are playing music or browsing your playlist or the music library, you’ll know if a related music video is available. This is for ‘All Access’ subscribers only—the lucky ones who get to enjoy almost all that is available.
Enjoying YouTube videos right in Google Play Music is now possible for All Access members. That’s just one of the many perks of being an All Access subscriber. Most of the good and new things Google is offering is made available to them. Simply update the Google Play Music app and you’ll see the new feature.
Google also added the ‘Did You Mean?” for searches that are spelled incorrectly. With this app update, Google promises to make music discovery, play, and sharing easier on Android and the web. Note that music is not stored locally on your device but rather online. This means it’s all about music streaming, no need for offline playback, storage space, or syncing.
All Access and Standard members can enjoy the following: add up to 20,000 songs from your personal music collection, access music, save favorites for offline playback, ad-free music listening, access to buy new music, and share free full play of songs already purchased with friends on Google+. All Access members are also given unlimited access to songs and are allowed to enjoy radio with no skip limits, smart recommendations, and radio customization from any album, song, or artist.
