Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? Maybe you’re still busy planning for Thanksgiving or are only waiting for Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. You might want to look into these new deals by T-Mobile. Earlier this week, the mobile carrier released the already-delayed Motorola Nexus 6 and Nexus 9.
The Nexus 6 is now available online and in select T-Mobile stores with no downpayment but with a $27.08 monthly fee on a two-year contract. This price is only for the 32GB variant but if want a bigger storage, you can get the 64GB model for $29.16/month also on a 2-year contract. Looking at the price difference, I think the latter is more worth it– $0 down and $2 more expensive but with twice the storage capacity. You can’t go wrong with that. This particular model is part of T-Mobile Underground— an online backroom for limited quatity and hard-to-find devices.
The 32GB Nexus 9 tablet will soon be available this coming December, also on the Underground with no downpayment and with $24.99 for two years. The 4G LTE-enabled Android tablet boasts of Lollipop and a 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor.
T-Mobile wants our holidays to be perfect so it introduced a new mobile Internet offering: the Un-carrier 7.0 WiFi Unleashed. The network aims to bring people a wider mobile coverage and this service is expected to bring better Wi-Fi calling and texting with more affordability.
Also recently announced is the new Stateside International Talk plan under the Un-carrier. Subscribers under the Simple Choice plan can take advantage of unlimited calls from the US to landlines in more than 70 countries for only $5/month. This is per account and not per line so that’s a very good deal. As for those who prefer unlimited calling to mobile phones in 30 countries, there’s a $10/month deal and it’s good for the whole family. If before, invididual subscribers need to pay, T-Mobile is changing all that by offering these mobile deals for the entire family. “At T-Mobile, you can talk day and night without ever worrying about extra charges or overages,” says John Legere, T-Mobile’s President and CEO.
Two year phone contract, if you pay it off, you aren’t locked down to tmobile. There is a difference.
I stopped in T-Mo to have a look at the Nexus 6; too big for me. I’ll keep my Nexus 5.
There was a glitch in the system launch day, I don’t know if it’s been fixed yet. The 64GB version wasn’t showing up in T-Mobile’s systems so I couldn’t order it. The 32GB version was in stock though and shipped next day. I’m thinking of calling them back though and getting the 64GB.
Why does Tmobile say unlimited everything, when in face they then say 1 gig of data per line? I love T-Mobile, but isn’t that a play on words?
No it isn’t, it’s unlimited data but 1 gig of fast data. Same thing when you go overseas but unlimited 2g though in practice, it is usually 3g or 4g since some areas overseas don’t have 2g.
