Eltechs, the guys behind the ExaGear Strategies emulator, has come out with another emulator called ExaGear RPG. As you may have guessed, this is an emulator that allows you to play those classic PC RPG games on your Android device. The earlier version was focused on real-time strategy games, you see.
Eltechs has a thing about franchises, in that they usually support classic franchises rather than be an all-in-one emulator for lots of games. For ExaGear RPG, they are guaranteeing support for classic RPGs like Fallout 1 and 2, and Heroes of Might and Magic 6, 7, and 8.
As with ExaGear Strategies, the catch here is that you yourself own a copy of the installer of the game – Eltechs are supremely clear in this, that no game is included in the download of their app. Of course, there are lots of ways to get the installer (we’re just saying), but when you do have it, the content needs to be copied onto the internal storage of your device. Needless to say, your device needs to have enough storage to run this correctly.
For fans of classic RPGs, the ExaGear RPG will be a boon. Eltechs has done it so that no tweaking has to be done on the game itself – the user only needs to purchase the recommended control set for your specific game. The app itself is a free download via the Google Play Store, and the control sets are the ones you need to purchase in-app.

It’s called Might and Magic 6, 7, and 8. Heroes of Might and Magic is a different type of game even if it’s playing in the same universe.
