LG has all but confirmed and revealed the LG G3‘s appearance, but there’s definitely room for more visual eye candy. While these images aren’t exactly the real thing, as they are 3D renders meant for press materials, they do expose what the final product could look like overall.
Most noticeable, of course, is the brushed metal look that the LG G3 is now expected to wear. The last time we saw such a design was on the LG G Flex, which didn’t exactly sell like pancakes. With the new look descending on LG’s next flagship, we could be seeing a shift in LG’s design direction away from the more plastic appearance of the LG G2 or even the textured back cover of the G Pro 2.
One angle not usually shown in past leaked photos is a view from the top of the device. Here we see nothing but the headphone jack and what is probably the IR blaster. The simplicity of the edge, plus the metallic looking accent, does give the G3 a rather high-class, premium personality. Of course, we cannot forget about the fancy new rear button controls that have been one of the very first things to leak about LG’s upcoming flagship.
LG has booked May 27 to finally unveil the LG G3 in all its glory. So far we’ve gotten a glimpse of almost every aspect of the smartphone’s body, but know very little when it comes to the insides, both hardware and software. It is, of course, expected to boast the best of the best, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 and a 5.5-inch WQHD screen. It will also be running Android 4.4 and will definitely sport the Knock Code feature, but we’re hoping that LG has other surprises in store.

Where is the headphone jack? All I see is a mic and an IR Blaster? If that hole in the top was the size of a headphone jack this phone would be absolutely massive!
Check other leaks; the headphone jack is at the bottom beside the microUSB port.
