It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that Samsung is working on some new tablet models. We have seen some recent leaks and rumors touching on some with an AMOLED display, but even putting that aside, Samsung is no stranger to offering a wide variety of device options. That being the case, it appears as if details are beginning to surface on a Note Pro, Tab Pro and Tab Lite.
The details for each of these models is still at a minimum, however there is talk of them coming in the early part of next year. What we are seeing comes by way of SamMobile and includes talk of a 12.2-inch Galaxy Note Pro and an 8.4 and 10.1inch version of the Galaxy Tab Pro. There was also mention of a Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. The Tab 3 Lite is expected to arrive with a 7-inch display.
In terms of seeing these come available for purchase, it is looking like the Tab 3 Lite will be first up. Reports have this one arriving in early January. From that it seems the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 are expected in February with the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 coming about a week later. Of course, as the details are still coming available, we need to remember these timelines could slip.

Anyway, with the new year just about upon us, we will be keeping an eye out for any announcements coming from Samsung. Other details on these tablets point towards the Galaxy Tab Pro models sporting 16GB of storage, with the Galaxy Note Pro sporting 32GB. Given what we have seen from Samsung in the past, nothing is all that surprising in regards to internal storage. There was also mention of black and white options for all three Pro models.

I’ve given up on the Nexus 10v2 so Samsung has an excellent chance of getting my business. The 12.2 model sounds very appealing for what I do.
