It looks like some additional evidence of an AT&T HTC One mini has surfaced. This latest is an FCC filing that details support for the necessary LTE bands. Basically, that is to say an HTC One mini has been spotted with support for HSPA+ and LTE with AT&T. That being said, this filing has simply added to the evidence which last arrived in image form.
A few days earlier a press render of an AT&T branded HTC One mini was posted by the folks at Android Police. Similar to the FCC filing though, that press render didn’t come along with anything that suggested a release date. Simply put, while it is starting to look like the handset is coming, the when remains a mystery for now.
Aside from the AT&T specifics in terms of network support and any carrier branded apps, the handset itself is not a mystery at this point. In fact, we have already spend some hands-on time with the HTC One mini after it was announced back in June. Basically, you would be looking at a device with similar looks and lower specs (as compared to the regular-sized One).
The HTC One mini has a 4.3-inch 720p display with a dual-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and is running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5. The battery also drops to 1800 mAh. Anyway, given the specs are lower, that likely means AT&T will also have the price lower.
Bottom line here, it looks like the HTC One mini will is destined for release with AT&T. Now we just need an official announcement along with some details in terms of the pricing and release date.
