The Falcon Pro Twitter account was updated to version 1.9 back in early May. That particular update brought some new customization options and some new features and was followed up with a smaller bug fixing update later in May. And well, coming back to the present day and it looks like we are getting closer to seeing the Falcon Pro v2.0 update. The developer has yet to reveal a release date, however he has begun to do some teasing.
The teasing has been taking place on Twitter and is arriving in image form. At this time we have seen three images and each have come along with some basic details. The first of the three can be seen above and shows what is being described as a new “flat design.” This will include three colors and while things are starting to look good, there doesn’t appear to be all that much changing as compared to the currently available release. Of course, some of that is likely due to the image itself.
Next up and again the image can be seen above. In this case we are seeing teasing that suggests v2.0 will be a “major” update with new features. While we obviously haven’t been shown all of the new features, one of them will include a new addition in the sliding menu. This one actually ties in with the image sitting below, with the above being the untapped (before) and the bottom being the tapped (after).
As you can see from the images, that little triangle brings account switching. The developer has said this will be simple and fast account switching and while we have yet to get hands-on with this release, that certainly seems to be an accurate way of describing things.
With that, it looks like we are going to have to keep an eye on the Falcon Pro Play Store listing in hopes this update will drop soon. Otherwise, while the multi-account switching and the new look both appear as if they will be welcomed, we cannot help but wonder what else will be arriving with Falcon Pro v2.0.

I hope they release a tablet compatible version. It won’t install on my Nook HD+. Google Play says not compatible. 🙁
