Putting an end to another series of rumors, Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S II Plus. That being said, while Samsung was forthcoming in terms of the specs (and images), they have yet to offer anything in terms of a price or a release date. Not to mention, which markets the Galaxy S II Plus is expected to come available in.
Those missing bits aside, lets get into those specs. The handset will be running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean along with the TouchWiz user interface. The display will measure in at 4.3-inches. Or more specifically, it will be a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a resolution of 480 x 800.
Other goodies here include a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, a 1650 mAh battery, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 3.0 and a microSD card slot with 8GB of internal storage. According to the spec sheet from Samsung, the Galaxy S II Plus will be available in two variants, one with, and one without NFC. The handset will weigh in at 121 grams and measure in at 125.3 x 66.1 x 8.5mm (with the NFC version measuring in just a tad thicker at 8.9mm).
Connectivity will arrive as 3G HSPA+ (21Mbps) on the 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100MHz bands and GSM on the 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900MHz bands. Otherwise, given this is a Samsung device with TouchWiz — you can expect to find the usual array of pre-loaded apps and services including Samsung Apps along with the Readers Hub, Music Hub, Video Hub, S Voice, AllShare Play and more. Finally, you will also find access to the Google Play store.

not too be for a starter phone. 1GB RAM is still not enough for any Phone or Tablet.
