Age of Zombies for Android Review [Optimized for Xperia PLAY]
Woo! Kill em all! That's what you're going to NEED to be doing when you play this fabulous game called Age of Zombies. This game is new to Android, having come out first only on Xperia PLAY (which is what we're looking at in the review) and just TODAY coming out for the greater bulk of the Android family using on-screen controls instead of the Xperia PLAY's Playstation controllers. What you're doing here is surviving, but better than that, you're stopping a zombie invasion from taking over and eating the entirety of the Earth after they've found their way into a time portal. What in the world? Let's start em all on fire!

Star Battalion for Xperia PLAY Review
This is a game that, if you're a fan of either of the following games or series, you're going to love the heck out of: StarFox 64 and Rogue Squadron for Gamecube. I know there's games very similar to those two, but those are massively iconic and without a doubt they flew through your humble narrator's mind the entire time he was playing the game we're talking about right here right now. This is Star Battalion and it's available now exclusively for Xperia PLAY - let's play it!

PAC-MAN for Android Review [Amazon Free App of the Day]
It appears that BANDAI / NAMCO are making an effort to get into the mobile gaming world today as they've both released PAC-MAN for Android exclusively through the Amazon Appstore for free AND have showed up at the Qualcomm (Uplinq) conference alongside other brand giants collaborating with the chipmakers. What we're looking at here is the PAC-MAN game on a couple of devices of note: the HTC ThunderBolt (because it's still one of the most widely used devices on the LTE-having market right now,) and the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY because we wanted to see if the controls did anything with the game. Turns out they do - sort of.

Battle Bears -1 for Xperia PLAY Review
Behold the next chapter in our review series of the games currently exclusive to (or otherwise optimized for) the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY, aka the PlayStation phone. What this game "Battle Bears -1" consists of is you controlling an upright-standing cartoon 3D bear from a 3rd person over-the-shoulder perspective as he collects weapons and cuts down, blasts, or otherwise destroys the rest of the characters in the game. You'll be using all your fingers for this one.

Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY Review [Verizon]
Welcome to a real PlayStation experience. What you're dealing with here is the original Android 2.3 Gingerbread Google Phone that fell out of grace for one reason or another but definitely still shows signs that it was MADE to work with Gingerbread. It's slick and sleek, the physical buttons for the 4 Android functions are fabulous, and the combination of plastic and metal and glass in the majority of the handset are well done. But how about that PlayStation controller? Let's take a look.

Raving Babies for Xperia PLAY Review
Oh my goodness what kind of a weird game is this? It's called Raving Babies, a game out exclusively on Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY being released on Verizon Wireless. The gameplay is simple enough - walk sideways and shoot your gun, defeating the enemies. Just like Ninja Turtles, Simpsons, NARC, and every other game from the 1990s. The difference here is that you've got it on your little screen and you're playing it with an Xperia PlayStation controller. Also the objective is to placate a bunch of hostile babies with your pacifier gun so that you can scoop them up and let them know how bad they've been with a time out!

Gun Bros for Xperia PLAY App Review
We're about to go through a big fat marathon of reviews of the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY's device-specific games here and we've decided to start with one that's been out for a few months but seems custom-tailored to be played with the knobs this device offers. Where before we were stuck with placing thumbs on the screen to control the two virtual joysticks this game requires, we're now allowed to use the two much more responsive (mostly due to placement) joysticks provided by PlayStation. Is it enough to make us want to move to Xperia PLAY to continue our game?

Guerilla Bob [Review] [Motorola XOOM + Android Handsets]
Lets begin by saying that Guerilla Bob works on lots of different Android devices. It looks fabulous on the XOOM tablet we've got sitting here, it looks lovely on the HTC ThunderBolt, and rolls out hard on the ATRIX 4G. The images and video you see below are on the Motorola XOOM tablet of course, as this is the big screen all games like this aught to be tested on, but let me assure you, it works just as well (and in some cases better) on the comparatively small screen. It's a powerhouse of a fun and simple shooter at just three bucks - skip the review, it rocks like a stick of dynamite attached to an arrow sticking to a bad guy!

Verizon HTC Droid Incredible Review
With a name like the Droid Incredible by HTC, Verizon aren't exactly pulling any punches when it comes to their latest Android smartphone. Beating the CDMA Google Nexus One to the market, the Droid Incredible packs the current holy trinity of big screen, fast processor and high-resolution camera, together with the UI benefits of HTC Sense. Can it really live up to its boastful name, though?
