Pantech has been making mobile phones for a long time now and typically the devices are more focused on low price than they are on high-end features and functions. A new device from Pantech has surfaced called the P8000 and this one has Android for the OS.

The new smartphone is thought to be heading to AT&T. It has Bluetooth onboard and will be the first device from Pantech with Android. Considering how popular the OS is, it’s no surprise to see Pantech move to Android for its lower cost mobile devices.

The device is thought to be going by the codename Moon and uses 850MHz and 1900MHz bands, presumably aiming the device at AT&T. Other specs like the processor and screen size are unknown at this time.
