With all the hubbub surrounding the DROID RAZR, HTC Rezound and Galaxy Nexus on Verizon's LTE network, QWERTY keyboard lovers are no doubt feeling a little left out. Verizon 4G LTE rollout ahead of schedule, already reaching 185 million customers

When Verizon announced their new 4G LTE network they had a few goals set in terms of the rollout, and how many customers would be able to take advantage of the new network. Today Verizon has announced that the original goal of 185 million customers has already been reached and that they are ahead of schedule, not to mention that they've also already reached their goal for the amount of markets that actually have 4G LTE.

Samsung Transform Ultra slides into the low end

There's a lot of QWERTY slider Android phones out there if you look hard enough, but most of them are mid- to high-end, and unfortunately off-limits to the thumbs of more pragmatic text-happy consumers. Samsung is looking to fill their demand with the Transform Ultra, a low-end slider previously reserved for Boost but set for release soon on the parent network. No price is available, but given the low specifications it should be less than $100 on-contract, possibly even free.

Motorola Atrix 2 available next week at Costco

We haven't heard a lot about this device lately but Motorola is all set to roll out and ship their new smartphone for AT&T, the Motorola Atrix 2. It has leaked a few times over the past few weeks but we never saw much of it until just recently. Then at CTIA this week Motorola announced it will be for sale starting October 16th. As usual Costco has a few different things in mind and will most likely be undercutting AT&T with a better price, and bundled accessories, so you might want to hold off until we see what they have in store for the Atrix 2.

Samsung Nexus Prime hitting Verizon October 27th [Rumor]

Word on the street is the Samsung Nexus will be launching on Verizon Wireless come October 27th. Since we still don't have an official name I'll just start calling it the Samsung Nexus instead of Galaxy, Prime, DROID, and all that other jazz. With all the recent rumors and teaser videos this just might end up being accurate but for now we'll chalk this up as a rumor and keep on dreaming.

HTC Vigor named the HTC DROID Incredible HD

While we've seen plenty of leaks it appears the new name has finally been decided. The HTC Vigor will be the first HD phone to market as the HTC DROID Incredible HD and feature a 1280x720p HD display.

Well folks, it seems LG is finally ready to hit the dual-core realm a bit harder soon. Most of their current offerings have been single core devices other than the Optimus x2. We've been waiting for a few more powerhouse phones from them and looks like we'll see some shortly. Just hitting the wires is not only a dual-core phone, but it also packs 4G LTE, an HD display and a few other impressive specs.

In early August a leaked roadmap for Verizon turned up and on it was listed the Samsung Illusion Android smartphone. Today we have a bit more information on the Illusion from Samsung with a new render of the device that has leaked. Previously a small image of the smartphone had turned up as well. The Illusion has model number SCF-I110.

HTC Vigor Press Image Revealed

The much rumored HTC Vigor has finally popped its head out again for everyone to get a quick look. With no surprise here it looks a bit similar to most of the recent HTC offerings, although that isn't a bad thing as they have stellar build quality. This isn't the first time we've seen this 1.5 Ghz dual-core powered LTE rocking phone either. More details after the break.
