Nexus One Flash 10.1 video demo

17 February 2010 by David Junior

The wait continues but at least we have more video proof that it does work, kinda. This is a Nexus with Flash 10.1 in the early stages of development as you will see in the upcoming video.

Embedded videos in web pages have the ability to play in the web page or you can even go full screen with a quick double tap, also you can rotate it while its playing and it will rotate and continue to function. The reason why it chugs along in the beginning part of the demo is because the software isn’t using the hardware acceleration. The rep said :“it’s not fully hardware accelerated, so that means you won’t get the same frame-rates and you don’t get the power saving.” This has loads of potential and I can’t wait to have it on my phone. Hopefully that will happen soon.
