The new Android-powered myTouch 3G for T-Mobile is finally here. We’ve barely had enough time to create an unboxing video along with a brief hardware walkthrough. There are also lots of pretty pictures for your viewing pleasure.

There aren’t any surprises or new info/features we can share with you that hasn’t already been written about. Existing T-Mobile customers were able to pre-order the myTouch 3G starting on July 8 requiring a 2-year service agreement. National retail availability for myTouch is planned for August 5. The price is $199.99.

Thats a sweet carrying case the phone comes in...is that how t-mobile is selling the phone or is that just dressed up for the press?

Not just myTouch but mytouch 3G..someone deserves to be fired for this one lol..i kid i kid...but no really who the hell signed off on that name

Yeah that is one sweet case. It comes with the phone. You can pack all your items in it for traveling. I hope I find that on eBay.

I really like that traveling case the phone comes with as well. Wish it came with the G1 also.

the Mytouch is realyl a good looking phone as well, it looks much better than the G1.

Stupid name, pretty good phone. The included screen protector sure was a nice touch -- would've loved one of those with my G1. :P

i honestly dont see much of a difference in the "mytouch" and "G1", i own a G1 and i dont know if the mytouch is showing me enough to get rid of the g1 and buy the mytouch. Anyone agree?
