There are times when you want your productivity apps to have all the bells and whistles in order to encourage you to use it more with all its details and bonus features. But then there are times when all you need is an app that will simply jot down all the things you need to do and then tick them off when you’re done. There may be a few bells, but it can function without them too. That’s what Minimal Todo is aiming to become.

From the name itself, the app is pretty minimalistic when it comes to design, how to add tasks, and how you view and complete them. Visually, it follows the Material Design visual guidelines that Google has been asking developers to implement for the past year or so. And this design actually works pretty well with this app as the clean background, simple icons and menu items are good enough for those that need a functioning to-do list app.

Aside from just adding a task, you can also set a date and time for a reminder to go off in the app. You can also snooze it for a certain amount of minutes before the actual time when you need to do the task, if it’s time-sensitive. But if not, you can just simply add a task and then check it off your list when it’s done.

You can download Minimal Todo from the Google Play Store for free. And of course since it’s minimalistic enough, no need for any in-app purchase.
