It looks like the release of the new addition to the LG X family is imminent. An official product video for the LG X mach has been released, just a little over a month after it was officially announced. And true enough, what the OEM is hyping up with this particular model is how “fast” it is in terms of download speed because of the LTE Cat9 3CA feature. The 40 second video didn’t really show much of the device, except to evoke the feeling of speed.
The fact that this device has LTE Cat9 3CA means it can support bandwidth that can bring you speeds of up to 400Mbps. So imagine just how fast you can download things onto your smartphone with that kind of support. But of course you need a pretty fast processor as well to make sure that the speed will cut both ways, and this device has a six-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, so let’s hope that it will actually nicely complement the bandwidth that it is capable of.
The LG X mach has a 5.5-inch 1440×2560 pixels display and has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB through a microSD card. The main camera is 12.3MP while the front-facing shooter is 8MP. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has a 3000mAh battery. It has the usual Fingerprint (rear), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass sensors and surprisingly, the LG signature rear buttons are making an appearance once again, after having been removed from the current flagship, the LG G5.
There are no pricing or availability details yet, but we’ll probably know more in the next few days. In the meantime, just feast your eyes and ears on the ad below and think about whether you’d actually be going for the LG X mach when it finally comes out in the market.
