We are still salivating over the slick, but admittedly high-end, HTC Hero mobile phone that runs Android. We now hear that HTC is set to launch several more devices, with at least one running Android according to reports.

With the high-end Android segment well covered, what the market needs is an entry-level Android device. It appears that HTC is working the HTC Click rumored to be just the entry-level phone we are looking for.

Among other HTC offerings are several Windows Mobile devices rumored to be called the Mega and Rome. There is no word on specifications for the devices are anticipated launch dates at this time. With the year half over, we can expect lots of Android devices to hit the market in the coming weeks if Google's promise of as many as 20 Android devices is to come true.
