Another great Android modder, madoco, has gotten his hands on a copy of the Desire ROM. He managed to get it to boot and most stuff is working as it should.

Soon we’ll be able to enjoy the upcoming Sense 2.1 on our Nexus One’s. Full flash 10.1 is present and working in this build. Although the hardware is similar a lot of elbow grease went into just getting it to fit because the system image on the Desire is roughly 200mb too big for the Nexus.
