HTC has confirmed that new Android 2.0 powered smartphones are incoming. The phone maker is mum on exactly which new handsets will get Android 2.0 when they hit market, but we can make some guesses.
SlashGear figures that the Dragon will end up packing Android 2.0 under the hood. HTC is reportedly playing with Android 2.0 in-house. Despite that fact, there is no timetable for Android 2.0 to make an official HTC debut.
Some of the HTC Android devices have yet to get the update to Android 1.6. All we really know at this point is that HTC is working with Android 2.0 and it will be coming on handsets eventually.
