If you use Google Voice, then you know that it’s a great application, but it isn’t perfect. That’s why when an update pops up, you may pounce on it, thinking that it’s all going to get better. The application just got an update recently, and with it comes a big feature inclusion — one that people have been asking for for awhile now.

Users of Google Voice can now search for what they want found in text messages, and voicemail transcriptions. Of course, whether or not it actually finds what you’re looking for, versus whatever Google transcribed from the particular caller will probably depend on a few factors, like whether or not Google recorded what was actually said. But, at least it’s a shot towards getting that perfect application we all know Google Voice can be. If you try it out, let us know in the comments how it goes for you.
