We were just talking about what Cyanogenmod will be putting into its 12.1 update – which is, if you didn’t know yet – CM’s take on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Now here come the nightly builds, and they’re rolling it out to a number of devices. If you’re familiar or have used CM before, you will understand that these are not the most stable builds yet.
The CM 12.1 nightly rollout includes builds for the Google Nexus 7 2013 (LTE), the OnePlus One, the Motorola Droid Razr, the Droid Razr HD, the HTC One Max, the Nexus 4 (mako), and Google’s current flagship the Nexus 6 (Shamu) among others. The good news? It’s that you can install the 12.1 build on top of your regular CM 12 installation.
The caveat is this – your Google Apps, or Gapps to many of you, will need to be installed manually because of compatibility issues with Android 5.1. The way the nightly build system of CyanogenMod works, nightly builds of CM12.1 ROM will be updated on a day-to-day basis until they put out a final version which will be announced and rolled out to the supported devices.
If you are interested in trying out the nightly builds, check out the source link below. Better be sure that you already know how to install a CM ROM. Also, keep a working backup of your phone in case something bad happens during your installation.

Seems pretty stable. I would get the odd blank screen and would have to reboot on my moto x, but that didn’t happen until after installing xposed soa module could have been the problem
I just installed it, now I cant do anything on my phone as every single app keeps popping up saying that it is unable to run, than my phone reboots itself
