Because most of us carry our gadgets with us all the time, sometimes they get lost, stolen, or more often than not, damaged. It’s good if you were able to insure it, but at times, we forget to activate it long after the deadline has gone. If you’re an AT&T subscriber, the good news is that there is now an open enrollment period for two months, even if you’ve gone beyond the activation period. Plus, you get to choose what kind of protection plan you need for your devices.

The usual procedure is that within 30 days of activation or , you need to enroll your device/devices. But from March 1 to April 30, even if you’ve gone beyond the enrollment deadline, you can go and get one of the three device protection options that are available. This is open to all individuals and businesses that are customers of AT&T Wireless and have had their smartphones or tablets for more than 30 days but didn’t enroll them.

The AT&T Multi-Device Protection Pack ($29.99/month) lets you add up to 3 eligible devices and is only available for individuals and families, but not for businesses. If you run into any problems or questions, the ProTech support team (US based) will be accessible to you. The AT&T Mobile Protection Pack ($10.99/month) is for just one smartphone or tablet and gives you coverage against loss, theft, and damage. You also get 50GB of cloud storage and also the ability to locate a lost device through the Protect Plus app.

Lastly, the AT&T Mobile Insurance ($6.99/month per enrolled member) adds out-of-warranty malfunctions for your devices, aside from the coverage for loss, theft, and damage. There are also offers for businesses with the AT&T Mobile Protection Pack for Business which also offers an exclusive administrative portal so you can manage all the enrolled devices easily. All of these will be available if you avail of the open enrollment from March 1 to April 30 of 2016.
