If you’re a YouTube Music or YouTube Premium subscriber, you have a lot of ways to access your music: through your phone, tablet, laptop, Google Home smart speakers, etc. But if you’re also a Sonos speaker user, your two worlds can now collide. You can now stream your YouTube Music stuff through any of your supported Sonos speakers through the Sonos app. You will now be able to play all your favorite songs, albums, artists, playlists wherever you have a smart speaker from the brand in your house or office.

In case you were just thinking of singing up for YouTube Music for the first time, here’s what you can expect when you stream it to your Sonos smart speakers. You have a Recommended section where there are a lot of suggestions for albums and playlists and artists for you to listen to. In this section, you can also find the stuff that you have marked as favorites and also the tunes that you last played.

YouTube Music also has a New Releases section where you can see all the latest music from the genres that you listen too often. They also have an Artist on the Rise feature in case you want to see who are the up and coming singers and bands that you need to listen to before they become crazy famous. YouTube Charts shows you the Top 100 songs globally but you also get a local version for your country.

In case you’re too lazy or undecided to choose which album or artist you want to play, you can just choose your mixtape, a personalized playlist that YouTube Music created for you, which is made up of your favorites as well as new songs that they think you’ll like based on your algorithm. But of course you have your own Library where you have your saved playlists, albums, and songs.

The YouTube Music and Sonos partnership is available in territories where you can subscribe to the former. You can try YouTube Music on a free trial in case you haven’t made up your mind.
