Wunderlist has been one of the most popular to-do list apps for quite some time now, and also one of the more active ones when it comes to bringing new features and updates. The latest one is a biggie, as they have undergone a complete redesign to make it more compatible with the latest Google update, Android 6.0 Marshmallow. You can also now have an easier time adding items to your lists, even without opening the app.
On your app home screen, you now see a large blue button which will allow you to quickly add an item to your list even without opening any of your folders or meta lists. But the even better option is the ability to add items to your list from the notification bar of your device even without opening the app itself. All you have to do is to enable the Quick Add Notification button in the settings then tap “Add to Wunderlist” on your notification bar every time you need to add something there.
The app redesign is also so your device will be ready once it has been updated to Marshmallow. Both the UI and the interoperability will be updated. The permissions notification will only appear when it’s crucial, which is one of the changes that Android 6.0 will bring when it comes to apps. Now On Tap, which is basically Google Now but better, can also be integrated with the Wunderlist app now. This means if you want to find out more about an item on your list, just long press it and Now On Tap will do the rest.
Of course Now on Tap and the Marshmallow interoperability will only be applicable if your smartphone or tablet is already on Marshmallow. But in the meantime, update your Wunderlist app already through the Google Play page so that you’re ready.
