My favorite music player of all times is back in the Android news today, having just updated their popular music and media player to version 1.3 with plenty of improvements. Winamp was always my favorite music player on my PC, and still reigns over iTunes for myself. This weekend they updated their player for Android with plenty of new goodies so check it out.
Winamp might not have the best user interface in the world but it’s extremely simple to use, and fits right along with their previous releases for Windows. Hopefully an improved look is coming soon as it looks just like it did last year in beta. The new Winamp version 1.3 brought an in-app store with Pro ad-ons and even a “Album Washer” for $0.99 that will clean up old audio files, and even help find missing album artwork.
They’ve also added move to SD option, a few more language options, fixed some memory bugs, and added ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio Codec) support so you can add in all those iTunes purchases. For the audio fan or just Winamp fan in general this is definetaly worth getting. For those needing FLAC support Winamp Pro is $3.99 in the Play Store. Give the new Winamp a try today from the link below.
