The very helpful Waze app has just been updated for Android. The 4.0 version now boasts of a cleaner, more streamlined design that’s pleasing to the eyes. App navigation is more intuitive and easier to control with taps being reduced so your time and energy are saved. Waze 4.0 will require less taps now because you can quickly go to the key features, allowing you to drive safely and with more convenience.
On the left side, there’s a button that pulls up the navigation menu, as well as, all your frequent and favorite destinations. This means you don’t have to type and search every time you are about to travel using Waze. The app now saves and remembers your location and places you usually go to. On the right side, a button provides quicks access to contacts so you can your location, send directions, and estimated time of arrival (ETA) to people who are expecting your presence.
The new Waze 4.0 also reduces power consumption so you don’t have to worry about your phone’s battery draining out quickly. Feel free check alternate routes so you can drive away from traffic. To make Waze more helpful than ever, the app can remind you of upcoming events and leave on time so you won’t be late. Just make sure Waze and your chosen Calendar app are integrated and synced.
Frequent users of the app will also notice the new design of the report menu. That big orange button you see on the map will easily bring the items you need to access. Simply tap and hold down the report menu to activate the quick report action.
