There may be dozens to hundreds of music player apps available on the Play Store today but you can’t use them all. You can probably try one at a time but it may take you a long time. Here’s a new one we want to try for the simple reason that it’s a new app by a young developer who shared his work on Reddit.
Wave Music Player is described by its developers as a futuristic music player with a modern user interface (UI) and powerful features. Some of its top features are the enhanced folder view of music files, the 5-band equalizer with presets and bass boost, sleep timer, widget support, and music search. You are free to edit album arts and metadata of song information, view recently added and played tracks, swipe to change songs, and lock screen controls with album art.
The flat minimalist design of the Wave Music Player app looks simple yet striking with the color red, white, and gray combo. Most audio file formats are supported–WAV, MP3, OGG, and FLAC. With the Wave Music Player, you can also sort and browse songs by track name, album name, artist name, date added, or duration of the file.
The Wave Music Player is free so expect to see ads. No mention if there will be a premium version or if in-app items will be added in the near future.
