Verizon will be the exclusive US carrier to bring you the Moto Z Force (or Moto Z Droid) and they will also be carrying the Moto Z as well. The modular smartphones are causing a bit of interest in the market but what we don’t know yet is how much this will set us back. Well, we will officially find out on July 14 as the carrier has already sent out invites to the lucky ones who will be there when they unveil the two new devices under their Droid sub-brand.
There were actually already some leaks as to how much the mods for the two devices will cost as there were screen caps posted, supposedly from the My Verizon app itself. But as for the actual price of the smartphones themselves, we still have no idea. The Moto Z Force or Droid Force, which is of course the more powerful of the two, will be available exclusively on Verizon. The Moto Z will have global, unlocked versions, but will be available this September.
Following in the line of the LG G5 modular design, the Moto Z and Z Force will also have some accessories or mods that can be attached to the device to enhance their prowess. You have cases like the one from Kate Spade, Powerpacks to add more juice to your phone, or the Projector Moto Mod which will let you project your phone’s content onto a bigger screen.
All will be known in just a week as the Verizon unveiling of the two new Motorola and Lenovo smartphone collaboration will be happening on July 14. Any guesses as to how much the two smartphones will cost?
