The NBA season has just started and so a lot of basketball fans are looking for ways to watch it even when they’re not at home. If you’re a Verizon subscriber and you have the go90 video streaming app on your mobile device, then you will be able to watch live sports with Stream Pass, the latest new treat from your carrier. This includes access to basketball, football, and soccer games, just for starters. The best news? It’s at no additional cost if you’re on the Verizon L, XL, or XXL plans.
Live sports is only the debut offering of Stream Pass and so you can expect more content from it later on. But for now, if you’re a sports fan, you’ll be able to enjoy streaming your favorite events from the three aforementioned sports. You’ll be able to get the NBA League Pass for the 2016-17 season if you’re a new Verizon customer or if you upgrade to the plans sizes L and above. If you’re not on any of those plans, you can purchase the League Pass for $99.50 through go90.
Meanwhile, fans of American football can watch all five weekly NFL games, including the local and primetime ones through go90 on their mobile devices. As for the “real” football, or soccer as some of you call it, you will get 1,000 live matches per year from such leagues as La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, CONMEBOL and CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers, Liga MX, and NASL. This is through beIN Sports and Univision Deportes. You can also cast these soccer games to your TV through Chromecast, Apple TV, or Belkin Miracast.
If you’re a new customer upgrading to Verizon plans L, XL, or XXL, you can get the go90 app for your Android device, sign in or register a new account and then choose Stream Pass from the menu and register for it. There is no additional cost for that and you can expect more video streaming treats in the future.
