The gigantic Samsung Galaxy Note II is available for preorder from Verizon and AT&T starting today. The ship date for the phone is listed as November 27th for Verizon, and much sooner for AT&T. That means that in just over a month you can have your hands on your very own Note II, as long as you are a Verizon or AT&T customer.

Both Verizon and AT&T are selling the device for $299 with a 2-year agreement. Verizon is selling the behemoth for $699.99 without a contract, and AT&T is selling it for $649.99. The phone is available in Pearl White and Titanium Grey from most US carriers.

The Samsung Galaxy Note II is one of the few phablets available on the market. It features a 5.5-inch touchscreen that blurs the line between smartphone and tablet. While the phone is a little on the expensive side, when you consider how much bigger it is than its competition, it’s not so bad. To go along with that, the phone is packed with high-end features that make it worth the higher price tag.

What are those high-end features? Well the Note II has quad-core 1.6GHz with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and support for expandable memory. It comes with an 8MP camera on the rear of the phone and a 1.9MP camera on the front. It comes with Jelly Bean 4.1 installed out of the box. If you’ve been waiting for this extra large phone to hit the market, now is the time get your preorder in and guarantee that you’ll have one come launch day. Verizon’s Note II will apparently “ship by” November 27th according to their website, while AT&T pre-orders should start arriving for buyers on November 9th.

  1. I didnt see a black or white option for AT&T, I only see Titanium Grey… Where is the option for a WHITE GN2 for AT&T?!?

  2. I thought that they would be available in AT&T stores on Nov. 9th, but if you pre-order it won’t ship until the end of November? Why would you pre-order? Unless they will not be in stores on the 9th like originally stated?

    • No- the article has it wrong. I just ordered mine and it confirmed that I will receive the phone by Nov. 9th. Ships on Nov 6th.

  3. Nov 27th is NOT AT&T’s arrival date. According to AT&T’s online store, and the confirmation I received when I preordered, the preorders should be shipped out starting on Nov 6th, and are expected to start arriving on Nov 9th. This article is incorrect.

  4. I called Verizon Customer Service and the lady i spoke with said the release is the 29th of October. I asked her to double check because the ship date isnt until the 11/24 so she put me on hold to look up some information. She reassured me that the release is the 29th so I’m just going to go in that morning and see if i can get my hands on one:D

  5. where is white att Note 2…I called and talked to the representative and said she has no idea on when or will att will offer White Note 2. I was shocked since Original note was represented by att and now T-mobile and Sprint are taking over on the Note 2. att BRING WHITE NOTE 2 IF U WANT MY BUSINESS.

  6. There is a lot of mis-information regarding the release of this device. As most folks have mentioned, AT&T said that the device would be available by the 11/9. I have yet to hear an official release date for Verizon. I don’t want to Apple fanboys to hate me but i think the delay is due to the fact that AT&T and Verizon are stuck with iPhone 5’s and they wanted to clear those out before releasing the GN2. Keep in mind that they pay full price for those phones and make their money back by making us extend our contracts. They’re probably stuck with a few crates of iPhone 5’s in the stock room and its not like they can return them to Apple. Lets face it folks, the iPhone 5 was a huge disappointment to anyone who is not an Apple Fanatic but knows something about what a true ground braking upgrade should be. The GN2 is the best device right now and Apple has failed to wow us. I am dumping my iPhone 4 and picking up the GN2. Maybe by the iPhone 6 Apple will have some of the features the GN2 has.

  7. I just got the Note 2 for Christmas and I am amazed. I am a graphic designer living in Atlanta, and I use my phone for work every day. This phone’s incredible capabilities along with AT&T’s 4G LTE network make my life/work easier. Long live Samsung!
