When you wear your headphones and listen to your music, it’s probably because you want to shut out the outside world or you want to enjoy your audio all by yourself. But there are times when you actually want to share your music with someone else without having to use speakers, and so you either lend them your headphones or blast it out to everyone else. But the new Seattle headphones from Urbanista gives you a 3rd option: a “share plug” so another headphones can plug in to your own headphones.
Seattle has a pretty simple and “Scandinavian minimalist” look with its on-ear foldable construction and a single-color scheme (except for one of the four models, the Rose Gold one). The earpads use the feature memory foam and the headband is also cushioned and adjustable. So basically, it feels pretty comfortable and not at all flashy, if what you’re looking for is simplicity and comfort.
One of the selling points of Seattle is that it comes with a “share plug” so a second person can connect to what you’re listening to, with their own earphones or headphones. Yes, you could do that now if you have one of those splitter adaptors, but here, you can plug in directly to the headphones, which is pretty awesome if you’re really excited about sharing what you’re listening to now with someone whom you think will appreciate it.
Seattle has 20 to 20,000Hz audio frequency, a 26+/-15% (at 1Khz) impedance, and a sensitivity of 102+/-3dB at 1Khz 1mW. Plus, it has a 140mm speaker size and a 120cm cable length with the 3.5mm audio jack connector that most headphones have. You can choose from Fluffy Cloud (white), Dark Clown (black), Blue Petroleum (ocean blue), and the aforementioned Rose Gold. A pair of Urbanista Seattle headphones will cost you 59.99 euros.
