The Google Maps app got a recent minor update to v9.8. Version was released earlier this week on the Play Store and included adding batch photo uploads plus restricting bookings from being shown in location screens. In this app update, doing a search will also yield results related to your personal bookings already made and saved. When you search for your hotels, flights, events, or reservations, Google Maps will also show a short list of related results.

This feature isn’t exactly new. Others are saying it’s been hidden since iGoogle was discontinued. Some devices were given the similar functionality to be able to search for personal flight details, hotels, and reservations using keywords such as ‘my flights’, ‘my reservations’, and ‘my hotels’. If you try Google Now voice search, the voice-assistant will read details of your next flight details. This is the first time the feature is coming to Google Maps though.

If you search for ‘my events’, a full list of hotels, flights, and bookings available will be shown. Searching for ‘my reservations’ will show current reservations while ‘my hotels’ and ‘my flights’ will show hotel and flight bookings.

Google Maps app has been helping millions of Android and non-Android device users to navigate a place. It’s easier and faster now to locate an unknown destination or the best tourist spots. If you’re going to a new town or country, Google Maps app provides accurate and comprehensive maps as guide when you go around. If you’re planning on walking, driving, and biking in a certain location, a voice-guided GPS navigation can take you there.

The app now also provides live traffic conditions, rerouting, and incident reports just like Wave. Since Google knows everything, the Google Maps can also provide detailed information of more than 100 million places.
