Samsung is finally unleashing unlocked variants of the flagship Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge introduced earlier this year. If you’ve been waiting for such version, now is the time to get the premium smartphones and use a mobile network of your choice. Samsung has unlocked the units for use under U.S. GSM/CDMA networks so you can know experience what the hype is all about. These phones are now widely offered in the United States, thanks to several retailers like eBay, Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and Sam’s Club among others.
We’re interested to know if the 25 million combined units were sold by end of June. Not that we doubt it would happen but we’re guessing some people are already holding off getting one because of the upcoming Note 7 and Note 7 edge that have been the major subject of the rumor mill the past weeks. For those content with the unlocked Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, you can now buy the phone so start enjoying virtual reality and wireless shopping with Samsung Pay.
Samsung didn’t change anything on the premium phones. They’re still the same high-performance mobile devices fans have grown to love with its Always-On Display, water- and dust-resistance, fast wireless charging, advanced imaging technology, and Samsung KNOX for privacy and security. The 3000mAh battery allows each phone to last the whole day on normal use. If you suddenly run low on batt, you can quickly juice up with fast charging.
As with any other Galaxy phones, the S7 and S7 edge allow mobile users to do more, move, and create with their phones. There’s a “Galaxy” of possibilities out there that one can explore with his Galaxy S7 or S7 edge. Phones are now available for $699 and $769, respectively.
