It’s cool that colleges are embracing apps to help students interact more with the school and get information faster. The University of Missouri has had an app on the iPhone (pictured) for a while that allows students to get all sorts of useful info like menus in the dining halls, a campus map, and the MU directory.
The school has now announced that an Android version of the app is coming with a launch date set for spring break. The app will be similar to the iPhone version but will have a few tweaks. According to the university, the app for Android has been in the works since the iPhone version launched last summer.
The original iPhone app was long coming since there were issues with IP related to the offering. Ultimately, the app landed on iPhone and Android users should be looking forward to getting the app if they attend the university.
