We’re back with your go-to list for gaming on your Android device. As 2016 rolls in, you might be anxious to try out some new games. Well, that’s what we have for you today – a list of five of the newest games you can now enjoy on your smartphone or tablet. Check out our top 5 games list for January below.
Rayman Adventures
You might recognize the Rayman series if you’ve played the original games on a PlayStation console. Now the fun has jumped over to Android, bring the side-scrolling, auto-runner platform game that builds on proven formulas from the developer’s previous mobile titles – these include Rayman Fiesta Run and Rayman Jungle Run.
Rayman Adventures features different gaming tasks as users are brought through different levels. In one level, you might be asked to collect items, in another you will need to defeat a boss. One thing is common, though – all levels will require timing in order to avoid baddies and jump over obstacles to reach the end of the stage.
This latest game gives you a bit more control to do in running than the earlier Rayman games. With this new game, you can now change your direction at will. Rayman Adventures is also free-to-play, with in-app purchases. But the game is a great time waster, with its high-resolution graphics and backgrounds – surely something you’d like to try out. Gods of Rome
Gameloft’s latest title is “Gods of Rome”, and it is should be worth checking out just because it is not what you would expect out of an RTS kind of title. The game is quite similar to Marvel’s Contest of Champions or Injustice: Gods Among Us, very much in the action and fighting game genre. If you’ve enjoyed these types of games before, you might want to check this out.
Controls for this game is pretty simple. Tap right for a regular attacks, swipe right for the much stronger special attacks, and swipe left to dodge and defend. There’s some of those super special attacks that you can only use once your power meter has filled up. So you rotate your fighting skills among these moves.
Gods of Rome also has three elements – Story Mode, Special Events and PvP. The Story Mode has three acts and three chapters within each act, so gamers will get quite a bit of game play there. Special Events are unlocked after you reach Level 5 and PvP is unlocked after you reach Level 6. Check out the game via the download link below.

Cut the Rope: Magic
“Cut the Rope” is a classic mobile title and is very familiar among Android gamers. But it looks like the game is getting another sequel in the form of Cut the Rope: Magic. The gameplay is fairly the same, but it gives you something new to enjoy as well.
The new game centers around what we all know from Cut the Rope – vibrant graphics, non-threatening concepts, but contains brain destroying difficult puzzles. Your task is still to deliver a piece of candy into the mouth of the hungry Om Nom, cutting the ropes in the correct order and timing.
Cut the Rope: Magic doesn’t have radical changes, but its presentation is gorgeous, credit to the efforts of developer ZeptoLab. If you’re eager for another puzzle game that will both engage and challenge you, check it out.

Sky Hoppers
We give you another puzzle-slash-skill game to waste your time – only, we hope you don’t toss or smash your Android device in anger when you try this. We bring you Sky Hoppers, a silly puzzle game that should challenge you and tickle your fancy.
The goal of the game is basic – take your player to safety by following the highlighted way over a stage’s play area. The catch, when you take too much time, the stage begins to crumble underneath your feet. Will your gaming skills prove fast and wise enough to beat the stages?
Sky Hoppers will also allow you to choose which character to use – either a human, a dodo, a robot, or a giant piece of sushi. Hey, whatever floats your boat. That’s how silly Sky Hoppers is. So if you want to give this a shot, take the jump and download the game on to your device.

Please, Don’t Touch Anything
This game is certainly not the least among these – but it’s another puzzle game. “Please, Don’t Touch Anything” is a wonderful little title that arrived on Android at the end of the year and has steadily gained a good following from the Android gaming community. We’re telling you right off the bat, if you haven’t played it this yet, now is the time.
The premise of the game’s storyline is that you’re left in charge of a desk with an obnoxious big red button in the middle. Your co-worker took a bathroom break and instructed you not to touch anything. So what’s your first instinct? Push the red button, of course.
All the action takes place at the desk, but it involves solving puzzles by trying out different combinations of button presses. The game is premium – you’ll have to pay USD$5.00 to own it – without in-app purchases. But take our word for it, “Please, Don’t Touch Anything” is one of the most enjoyable Android titles released in 2015, and you should try it today.
