TomTom showed off three new health trackers and wearables in Berlin but they’re not the only products the brand has prepared. TomTom also launched the new VIO and GO navigation devices. You won’t be able to wear them on your wrist but they are in a portable and compact form. The two boast of having advantage technology and a cool new design.
The TomTom GO satnav series includes the GO 5200 and the GO 6200. They vary in screen size as they are 5-inch and 6-inch devices. They support SIM for connectivity so users can get updates and speed information. Both satnavs work with Google Now, Cortana, and Siri. As usual, you can get traffic updates, Lifetime Services, voice control for navigation, and voice recognition among others.
Meanwhile, the TomTom VIO is ideal for those into cycling or motorbiking. It works as a secondary display for your smartphone. What’s good about this is the weatherproof touchscreen display allowing you to bring it anywhere. You don’t even have to worry about it getting wet in the rain.
TomTom VIO can also help you conserve your phone’s energy because it can render the graphics for you instead of on your main phone screen. This small puck-shaped device lets you navigate well while biking or riding a scooter. You can also integrate this gadget with a Bluetooth audio system for a hands-free navigation. For the riders, the VIO can also tell you if you are driving fast and give you speed warnings.
