If the company you own or work for has a hard time keeping track of where everyone else is, in terms of leaves and vacations, and if you’re still relying on old-school methods of doing so, you might want to check out Timetastic, a staff leave planner service. The Android app has also now been redone from the ground up to bring a “completely new mobile experience” for both old and new users of the service.

If you’re not familiar yet with what Timetastic does, it is basically a simple and efficient way to manage leaves and vacation times for an entire team through a web and app based program. Aside from getting rid of old school paperwork, like forms and physical signatures, it also lets managers and HR know instantly all the information that has been inputted into the app.

Requesting and approvals will be done through the app itself and will be instantaneously reflected on the calendar. Managers and HR will be informed through notifications. The annual leaves of each employee will also be tracked, updated, and reconciled instantly. And the reports of course can be exportable and downloadable.

The Timetastic app itself, which you can download from the Google Play Store, is free, but to be able to use it, you would need a Timetastic account, which costs about $0.70 per person. The good news is that there’s a free 3-month trial that you can use to see if this is a good fit for your company.
