Early last year, a new game called Threes! was finally released for Android devices, and puzzle geeks everywhere were happy. However, for those who don’t like actually paying for apps and games, the $2.99 price tag was a deterrent. But now, a little more than a year later, they have finally released a free version of the game, but of course you’d have to “suffer through” some sort of exchange for it.
If basic math is not your strong suit or even not your interest, then this game will have no appeal for you whatsoever. But if you like solving number puzzles and your brain being challenged as you play on, then you’d definitely want to try out Threes! if you haven’t yet. You just slide the numbered tiles to get threes, through combinations of numbers. That is why a little basic math will come in handy. You’ll try to get to the highest score by filling up the board.
The game description says you’ll meet “an endearing cast of characters”. Well, unless you find numbers endearing, then we’re not really sure what they mean by this. But we believe them when they say it’s an endless challenge and that you’ll be addicted to the game. And there are no in-app purchases so no need to spend.
However, as with all things free, there is a caveat. You’ll get ads of course, which sometimes is really annoying if you’re in the middle of a game. But that’s what you get for free. If you don’t mind the ads, you can download Threes! for free from the Google Play Store. But if you don’t like ads and you’re willing to pay $2.99, you can get the paid ad-free version.
