Smart home technology progress may be slow but it’s surely advancing. The Nest may be the most popular digital thermostat today but we know it’s not as reliable. We’ve seen similar and related devices that we’re hoping would make things easier for all of us. We have yet to try the available ones but we’re not sure what’s best for the Internet of Things.
This small device called a ThermoPeanut is a smart sensor that measures the temperature. After checking, it then sends the information to your smartphone via Bluetooth Smart. It works with a SensePeanut companion app so you can easily view the temperature and history. The ThermoPeanut can measure temperature in a room or even your appliances at home. Even if you’re mobile, you can be aware of the current temperature.
ThermoPeanut will alert if its too hot or cold according to your set range. It will make a sound to get your attention while a short notification will be sent to your phone. You can even view the history and charts so you can be informed and be able to make the right choices whenever.
One ThermoPeanut device is $29. It’s affordable and easy to use. You don’t have to learn any complicated system because everything is easy from installation to usage to reviewing the data.
