I told you. The pixel art style in mobile games is slowly becoming a trend. Instead of really stunning graphics and colors, such games will show more pixels (squares) in a retro kind of way. If you’re a fan of SimCity, you’ll be glad to know there’s a new version that will probably bring you back to 1989 when SimCity was first released. In TheoTown, you can do anything you want. Build more houses, develop more buildings, schools, parks, and more. It’s up to you how to make the town more enticing to live in.
TheoTown is a city building game that will probably make you play and build for hours. SimCity may be better but this TheoTown is going back to the basics when times and technology are very simple and less complicated. This gaming app is still in alpha base so you may not to be able to access all features yet.
If you’re a hardcore SimCity fan, you may notice that this also looks a bit like the SimCity 2000 game. It really is very similar that you can also build different zones and offer TheoTown citizens their basic needs like water, education, healthcare, and power among others.
Some significant additions include the Gillender building and statue, some shaders, a police and fire department, slider to list boxes, and categories in the settings.
