The Channels feature of the Telegram messaging app (probably comparable to Facebook’s pages) has been one of their most popular features. And when something becomes popular, you’ll of course see a lot of wish lists and requests for more features. The latest update to the app indeed brings a lot of new things, specifically for the channels, so as to attract even more people to use Telegram, aside from all the other messaging apps they’re already using.
Since Channels are public, there are times when you’d like to share one of the posts in there. You can now copy links to individual messages and then share them outside of Telegram on your other social networks. When someone clicks on it, it will lead to the channel itself with the individual message highlighted. There is also now a Quick Share Button for links, pictures and videos you get from bots. If you’re a channel admin and you need to post a message but don’t want to disturb your followers, there is a way to do so now. You can now send silent messages and your subscribers will not be notified, but of course it will appear on the timeline. You can toggle the silent messages on and off by tapping on the bell icon.

If a channel has more than one admin, sometimes it’s important for subscribers to know which one actually posted the update. The app now has signatures in the Channel Info, and the messages they respectively post will contain their screen name. But don’t worry, it won’t link to your profile if you still want to remain private and semi-anonymous. If you made a typo or an error on a post, you can now edit it even after it has been posted, helping you save digital face. This feature also works on Telegram’s supergroups.

Aside from all these Channels updates, all Telegram users will also now be able to have sticker previews, including sticker suggestions as well, when you type an emoji or on the Add stickers screen. The update is currently rolling out so check your Google Play Store if it has reached you already.
